The past weekend was spent working on the rear mast and fitting it out with the platforms and mast stays. I set this aside to dry while I made all the copper wire ladder rings, of which there were over 60 required and then it was only the drilling to do all 120 plus holes.
I measured up the two mast stays and then set about the drilling process which to about an hour, before I could start to fit the rings. Whilst I did make the rings basically to size it was only at the time of fitting when the fine adjustments were made to ensure all fitted correctly.
