Today saw the start of the conning tower construction, with the laser cut main tower being constructed and left to cure before filling and sanding commenced. Once complete I then moved onto the different decks with the upper two being 3D printed, as this meant I could set off the printer whilst working on other sections of the model.

The following photo shows the basic tower with the two decks sitting in the correct placement.
