Today we started testing our CAD skills and then outputting the designs via our laser cutter. Two reasons for this is as follows:

Firstly check our designs are the correct scales and that we are not missing items such as portholes and doors, and anything fitted directly to the walls or deck.

Secondly we need to check that the laser cutter is correctly marking all the parts, but most of all to ensure there is no distortion should the mirror alinement be slightly out.
