Today we took delivery of all the fine brass rods needed for this model, and we started adding the rods to the Spotting Platform as can be seen from the images below.

The rods were joined mainly using soldering and then a thin but strong glue was used to hold them in place. Just a little bit of a tidy up of the brass rods from any glue and then it should be ready to prime and paint in the final dark colours of the Home Fleet in 1939.
