I have had some great fun in the designing and creation of these two large search light platforms.

The first process was to convert the 2D plans into a 3D CAD file, which was done by breaking down one platform into smaller modules as this improved the design and when all sections were brought together I could make changes so it would 3D print correctly.

The final step was to create a second platform as I had created the starboard one, which was a simple process of mirroring the current one and hey presto we have two…!
