Today I started work on cleaning up the marks and any air bubbles in the resin models of the lifeboats and steam launches that are to be added to the model.

These models are well cast but as with all resin casting if you do not use a vacuum or pressure chamber, air will become trapped in small parts of the mould. I use a vacuum chamber for my resin cast models, as this does ensure the resin is moving around the mould correctly when you have small or highly detailed models.
